Brisbane Basket Brigade
The Basket Brigade each year deliver Christmas hampers to the young people in our housing, this service brings allot of smiles to our young people’s faces and provides some of the essentials and treats everyone should have at Christmas time!

Mindarma is an online program that teaches mindfulness and cognitive skills that can help protect mental health and enhance a person’s ability to adapt in the face of day-to-day challenges in a complex and changing environment.
Hills And District Chamber Of Commerce
The Hills & District Chamber of Commerce is a friendly and supportive Chamber of Commerce covering the Ferny Hills, Arana Hills, Ferny Grove, Keperra, Mitchelton and surrounding districts of north Brisbane, Australia. Established on the 28th July 1992, our Chamber is affiliated with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Queensland, and runs on a not-for-profit basis.
It is great being a member of the Chamber. We appreciate the amazing an ongoing support from the chamber and all its members.
Share The Dignity
Share the Dignity is an Australian Charity bringing dignity to homeless, at-risk and those experiencing domestic violence through the distribution of sanitary items and funding of funerals.
Thank you to Share the Dignity for providing sanitary products to the young women in our service.
Lord Mayors Community Trust
The Lord Mayor’s Community Trust has provided grants to help fund our young people’s end of year Christmas Parties.
We have been able to provide many fun filled days over the last couple of years with trips to Movie World and Wet n Wild; we thank them for all their support and contributions!
The Lady Bowen Trust
The Lady Bowen Trust provides practical help to Queenslanders who are experiencing, or are at risk of, homelessness to stabilise their lives and build a better future. The Trust partners with established charitable organisations to provide targeted and flexible support according to a client’s individual needs as specified in their case management plan.
The Lady Bowen Trust has been an ongoing supporter and partner of NWYAS for many years, we appreciate their contributions to young people accessing our service.
Rotary Mitchelton
Our local Rotary Club in Mitchelton has been an amazing support of NWYAS for years. Most recently, in partnership with Picabeen also, we have held joint fundraisers to create the Youth Engagement Fund to support at risk young people have financial assistance for education, employment or access to sport/rec activities.
Picabeen - supporting community
Picabeen aims to improve the lives of everyone in their local community. They do this by providing services and encouraging social participation and community engagement at their Community Centre in Mitchelton. Picabeen provides information, advice and referrals, emergency assistance, youth services, a wide range of community services and activities and other support projects for the local community.
northside connect
Northside Connect is a not-for-profit organisation based in Nundah offering legal advice, domestic violence support and family/community services to those living on the north side of Brisbane. Northside Connect aims to build and encourage the local aspirations of the north Brisbane community by providing a safe place to connect.
GIVIT
Givit is a great organisation that has provided many of our young people with items they need for their home.
We have been lucky to receive such donations as cots, vacuum cleaners, dining tables and chairs to name a few, thank you to everyone at Givit that works behind the scene to make it all happen!
Street Smart
This amazing organisation has been a big helping hand to the young people in our service. Over the years we have been so grateful for their support in funding some really great programs at NWYAS.
Whether it’s been funding for driving lessons, whitegoods, furniture or home starter packs, every cent has been so beneficial for young people in our service. We cannot thank Street Smart enough.

Winbasic has been providing their IT expertise to NWYAS Inc. for many years and with technology being such a large part of our society we are very lucky to have David and Jason from Winbasic keeping us up and running!
